z4 Technologies, Inc. is a privately held company located in southeastern Michigan , within “Automation Alley”, the high tech center of Michigan and the automotive industry in Oakland County , Michigan - just north of Detroit and east of Ann Arbor .

z4 was founded with the objective of continuing development of innovative proprietary DRM solutions, including Product Activation, and DRM platforms to protect the intellectual property of software/digital content publishers/providers. Research and development activities began almost a decade ago at a z4 affiliate company.

The resulting mission of z4 is to provide anti-piracy protection for software/digital content providers either under contract or through license. Our ever expanding DRM patent portfolio is currently comprised of 24 patents or patents pending and includes approximately 1,800 claims.
